Do you want to effect change in a positive way?! Mollie Stone’s Markets, an upscale grocery company is looking for a Business Operations Analyst to join our family. This position will work in partnership with the buying team to conduct extensive, accurate analyses of our buying, product mix and existing business operations. They will be responsible for creating reports and innovative analysis for the team while assisting in determining areas to drive business growth and developing solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of our buying and current business practices.


Responsibilities: (included, but not limited to)

  • Be a resource across the company to develop reports and analysis to improve decision making through category management, marketing, procurement, merchandisers, and store operations
  • Assist in decision making through reports to change produce assortment, pricing, promotional items, shelf management, store ordering, merchandising and labor management
  • Determine areas of business where innovative analytical solutions may be used to drive business growth, create analysis, and develop recommendations
  • Examine consumer sales and profit growth opportunity.
  • Develop analytical presentations and communicate them with leadership
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and buying teams to create business plans to drive sales and meet customer’s needs
  • Identify new sources of data to improve information collection, analysis and statistical reporting
  • Partner with buyers to conduct accurate and extensive analyses of our buying and product mix.
  • Evaluate information critically from multiple sources and indicate quality of final analysis, resolving data integrity issues
  • Implement and promote change based on analytics



  • Undergraduate Degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or other area requiring analytical and technical knowledge
  • Some experience with data collection or statistical analysis experiences preferred
  • Excellent organization and planning skills
  • Ability to communicate complex data in comprehensive way, including excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with multiple departments and senior leadership
  • Expertise in using software applications
  • Ability to work independently
  • Grocery or Retail experience a plus
