About the Role:
Mollie Stone’s Markets is looking for a Part Time Floral Clerk to support our Marin Stores in Greenbrae and Sausalito. Our ideal candidate will have previous floral experience, a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a flair for merchandising. This candidate must also have a cooperative, friendly personality and the desire to grow in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions:
- Able to arrange and wrap flowers
- Ability to merchandise department to increase sales
- Ability to maintain quality and freshness throughout department
- Assist customers with questions and offer product knowledge
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Desire to constantly grow product knowledge of flowers, plants and other floral merchandise
- Detail-oriented
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including evening weekend and some holidays.
- Local candidates only.
- Previous floral experience.
Competencies:
- Ability to manage confidentiality with integrity.
- Effective written and oral communication with strong attention to details.
- Exceptional organization with strong ability to prioritize competing interests.
- Strong ability to cooperate and work collaboratively towards solutions in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
- Standing: Up to 8 hours per day.
- Walking: Up to 8 hours per day.
- Reaching: Up to 4 hours per day.
Travel Requirements:
- Independent and reliable local travel 50% of the time.
Pay scale:
16.80-21.35 depending on industry experience.
