About the Role:

Mollie Stone’s Markets is looking for a Full Time Housewares Manager at our Greenbrae location. The perfect candidate will be customer service driven and be flexible working various tasks from day to day.

 

Essential Functions:

This position requires a high level of responsibility and skill, including:

  • Weekly submission of orders, with a thorough understanding of products across 75 vendors.
  • Effective management of stock levels.
  • Timely and clear communication with vendors and the internal team.
  • Prompt remittance of invoices after verifying all incoming orders.
  • Strong prioritization skills to balance multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including email organization and daily use of Excel.
  • Submission of Credit Requests
  • Learning and applying visual merchandising techniques and remerchandising sets effectively.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years' experience in working with houseware items and knowledge of merchandising
  • Previous experience in housewares in a supervisory role
  • Must be able to direct the work of others
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
  • Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred.
  • Must be able to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department including morning, evenings, and weekends.
  • Local candidates only.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Standing: Up to 8 hours per day.
  • Walking: Up to 8 hours per day.
  • Reaching: Up to 4 hours per day.

Pay range:

$22.35 $24.25/hour depending on industry experience.
